Blainroe Golf Club: You will find Blainroe Golf Club just 20km north of Arklow Town, its cliff top location affords some spectacular views of the Irish Sea with Mount Snowdon in Wales featuring regularly as a backdrop during the summer months. The European Club is a world renowned links course, designed by Pat Ruddy, featuring 20 holes and newarly a mile of Irish Sea frontage. Pat aspired to having a golf course of his own since learning that Jimmy Demaret and Jack Burke were founding a golf course of their own, The Champions Club, in Texas in 1958…and it came to fruition when he surveyed Ireland's coastline by helicopter in search for a classic golf location. There it was at lovely Brittas Bay just 30-miles south of the capital city, Dubin. Madreddin Golf Club: The Macreddin Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty, tucked away at the southern reaches of the Wicklow Mountains. In the heart of the valley lies Macreddin Golf, a magnificent 18 hole, Par 72 golf course set on 160 acres of tranquil woodland splendour. Courtown Golf Club: Courtown Golf Club is a picturesque and challenging golf course located 20 minutes drive from the Arklow Bay Hotel, just outside the town of Gorey only an hour from South Dublin.
