Arklow Golf Club: Established in 1927, is a traditional seaside links course located in Arklow. Designed by Hawtree & Taylor, with later enhancements by Eddie Hackett and Eddie Connaughton, the course offers a classic links experience with undulating fairways, rugged sand dunes, and panoramic views of the Irish Sea. Blainroe Golf Club: You will find Blainroe Golf Club just 20km north of Arklow Town, its cliff top location affords some spectacular views of the Irish Sea with Mount Snowdon in Wales featuring regularly as a backdrop during the summer months. Wicklow Golf Club: One of the oldest golf clubs on the East Coast, Wicklow Golf Club was founded in 1904 and is an 18-hole cliff top course with outstanding and unique sea views hewn from the wild coastline of Wicklow. Brittas Bay: Formerly the European Club, Brittas Bay opened to the public in 1993, and quickly captured the attention of the golfin world. The European Club was reqularly ranked in the top 5 courses in Ireland, and held a spot in the Top 100 courses of the world in Golf Magazine, and Golf World. Renowned winners of tournaments at the club inlcuded multiple major winners Padraig Harrington (Irish PGA Championship 2007, 2008, and 2009), Rory Mcllroy (Irish Amateur 2006). Woodenbridge Golf Club: Woodenbridge Golf Club: The Patrick Merrigan designed Woodenbridge Golf Club is a Par 71 parkland course. The beautiful Avoca & Aughrim rivers come into play on no less than 10 holes, each providing unique challenges for players of all handicaps. Madreddin Golf Club: The Macreddin Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty, tucked away at the southern reaches of the Wicklow Mountains. In the heart of the valley lies Macreddin Golf, a magnificent 18 hole, Par 72 golf course set on 160 acres of tranquil woodland splendour. Courtown Golf Club: Courtown Golf Club is a picturesque and challenging golf course located 20 minutes drive from the Arklow Bay Hotel, just outside the town of Gorey only an hour from South Dublin. Founded in 1936, Courtown is a mature parkland course, par 71 and every fairway is lined to reward the accurate golfer and punish the wayward, with panoramic views of the South Irish Sea on the North Wexford coast.
