Steps to get married
Decide where you want to get married (i.e. in which county) and make an appointment to meet with the registrar in the area you want to get married;
At this meeting you officially notify them you want to get married. By law you must give three months’ notice at this meeting;
You’ll need to tell the registrar the date you want to marry, the venue for your civil ceremony and the name and date of birth of your two witnesses;
Once it’s all processed you’ll receive a marriage registration form, which is the document authorising you to proceed with your marriage.

Can’t thank the Arklow Bay enough, we got married on the 25th August and it was the best day ever! We were dealing with Orla and Shauna and they were both amazing! Everything was so laid back and everything is done for you so there is no stress for the big day. I had supplied lots of extra detail for my big day and they set the room out perfectly for me! The staff were amazing too and very polite. The food was beautiful, everyone commented on it. The outside is beautiful for pictures. I am so glad I picked the Arklow Bay and wish I could do it all again. Thanks again xxx
